With the production of conventional cotton, silk, synthetics, and bamboo viscose, the textile industry has been destroying our planet for decades. Thankfully, we are at the beginning of a new generation – one of awareness, responsibility, and change – and sleepmōd® was created to help. As a subsidiary of ecobrands®, our company’s goal is to create sustainable luxury bedding that conserves resources and protects our planet, while also being softer, longer lasting, and more luxurious than the destructive fabrics of yesterday. In the process, we hope to convert more and more people to sustainable living and help shift the world’s mindset from consumption to conservation.
Innovation > Imitation
We are honored to be partners of Lenzing AG and Unifi, Inc, two of the world’s most well-known, well-respected eco-innovators in the textile industry. Lenzing TENCEL™ fibers provide a solution to the excessive irrigation, fertilizer and pesticide use in cotton production, the marine litter and micro-plastic pollution generated by microfiber production, the harmful chemicals of bamboo viscose, and the extreme CO2 emissions of silk. Unifi REPREVE® diverts billions of plastic bottles from our oceans and landfills and converts them to premium textile fibers. We use both TENCEL™ and REPREVE® fibers to create light, airy, and ultra-soft bedding that does not pollute our planet like traditional textiles do.

Going further than our eco-friendly products, our social responsibility spans from local to global. We donate our eucalyptus bedding to domestic violence and homeless shelters, we provide Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to the homeless in our community, all of our employees regularly donate blood, we support our military, police, nurses, first responders and teachers, we plant a tree for every order we receive, we support inclusivity and make our websites accessible to people with disabilities, we provide plastic-free packaging and carbon-neutral shipping, and we participate in community cleanups.
Quality > Quantity
Equally important to us is directly improving quality of life by helping people achieve better sleep. There’s no question that a great night’s sleep is essential to good health. Sleep regenerates, rejuvenates, and refreshes our minds and bodies. Therefore, we focus on creating premium bedding with industry leading sustainability and incredible softness. It brings us great joy to achieve both, and for this reason, commitment to quality will never be spurned in favor of profit.
